Domestic Customers:
We ship via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail, and occasionally by USPS First Class Mail (small packages) whichever is more cost effective. Shipping costs include carrier charges, packaging, and handling. Ownership of items transfers at time of shipment. If you desire to purchase insurance, please state that initially, and a quotation for insurance will be included. To-date, we have had no packages lost by any of our carriers.
Domestic payment may be made by personal check, money order, or PayPal. PayPal costs are passed along to the purchaser.
International shipping quotations consist of carrier charges, packaging, document preparation, and special handling required (beyond domestic shipping). Consequently there will be a $10 charge INCLUDED in any shipping estimate. Brokerage fees at the destination are not included.
Only a traceable-to-destination method of shipping will be used for large packages. Two methods of shipping are available: Federal Express International (Federal Express International Ground to Canada) and USPS Express Mail International. Ownership of items transfers at time of shipment. If you desire insurance, please state that initially and a quotation for insurance will be included.
If requested, small lightweight packages may be shipped via USPS First Class International Mail, but are not traceable. Once shipped, they are non-refundable if they fail to reach you.
PC Podiums cannot be shipped except via Federal Express due to the length of the tube package (109.22 cm, or 43 inches).
One shipping quotation will be provided, which will be the cheapest method.
Special note to Canadian customers: Shipping to Canada is problematic and often expensive due to the brokerage fees charged there. Nearly all carriers such as FedEx Ground, UPS Ground, and others have relatively low shipping costs, but they employ brokers who charge as much as $25 to $40 to clear a package. Apparently, there is no way to determine in advance how much they will charge. The USPS has low rates and the fees are lower, but the delivery sometimes is delayed inexplicably at the border. Please be aware of those factors when you order items from us and when you specify a carrier.
